The Presets Announce Additional 2013 Shows

Australian electro outfit The Presets have announced additional capital city concerts for their 2013 national tour. After a series of festival appearances and secret warehouse gigs, these shows see the band play their first headline shows in Australia since their 2009 tour for their seminal album Apocalypso.

The announcement of the three new shows caters to serious demand after the band sold out three shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane within a matter of minutes, only acting as justification for their popularity. The February tour will see the band bring their Pacafica tour across the East Coast and to both Adelaide and Fremantle. After their success headlining Parklife earlier this year, these additional shows are sure to sell out within a matter of minutes.

Music Feeds’ reviewer Adam Braksator was at the last Presets show, saying that “Julian fed off the crowd’s energy as he galloped back and forth across the stage like a wild stallion. The lights dimmed as they rocked their way into the second half of the set. Now it was getting serious. Scattered on stage was a plethora of eight big screens, full of epic electronica effects.” If that’s anything to go by, these string of February shows will be everything you expect and much much more.
