A Snippet Of Alice In Chains’ New Single ‘Hollow’ Is Leaked, Then Taken Down

Can’t wait to hear the new Alice in Chains song? Well, you’re going to have to wait a little longer.

A small snippet of the grunge icons’ comeback single Hollow was temporarily posted on Amazon, but now, upon clicking on the link, the page has been taken down.

However, Loudwire got to have a listen to the snippet before Amazon took it down, and they reckon the clip makes the band sound like they are in “familiar territory”, and the track is filled with “trudging guitars and moody vocals.

Lyrics include: ‘Running in circles, slowing down / rolling against the closing now / Easy to feed off the weakened thing / Harder to say what I really mean.’

Alice in Chains have been working on new music for most of 2012 and late 2011. They last visited Australia for Soundwave and some sideshows in 2009. A new album is expected sometime in 2013.

Hollow is expected to be released in full on December 18. Hopefully, we’ll have a stream for you then!
