Watch: The Killers’ New Video ‘Here With Me’ Directed By Tim Burton

The Killers have released the new music video for their latest single Here With Me. Lifted from their 2012 album Battle Born, the clip for Here With Me was directed by none other than renowned filmmaker Tim Burton.

The clips features Winona Ryder, who starred in Burton’s 1990 film Edward Scissorhands, and tells the tale of a young man obsessed with Ryder’s character. The slightly creepy protagonist goes on to date a wax model of Ryder’s character before the story takes on the kind of twist that makes Burton such an intriguing storyteller.

The Killers’ guitarist Dave Keuning recently caught up with Music Feeds ahead of the band’s appearance at Big Day Out 2013. When asked how the new songs from Battle Born were settling into The Killers’ live set, Keuning said that some worked better than others.

“We go through the same thing every new album – [the audience] don’t quite know some of the deeper album tracks and some audiences maybe know one song more than the next one. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw,” Keuning explained to Music Feeds.

“Sadly, we’re in an era where people don’t necessarily even finish your album. Some people just listen to the first half and then move on to something else… I’ve been with a lot of people who listen to the hit song and then just take the CD out of the car and throw it on the ground or whatever, even though there’s other tracks. So you have to have a little bit of patience and hope that people kind of eventually experiment and give the other ones a shot.”
