The Rolling Stones welcomed Lady Gaga onto the stage at the Prudential Center in New Jersey over the weekend to perform one of the band’s most iconic songs: 1969’s Gimme Shelter. Although for some the pairing of Mick Jagger and Gaga might be a fresh new level of hell, the footage shows Gaga capably howling and hollering her way through the classic tune.
Gaga also gives Jagger a run for his money when it comes to awkward dance moves, which are made all the more impressive given that Gaga twists and twirls in platforms that are at least two storeys high.
As seen in the pics below, posted by the NY Daily News, the show also boasted the guitar skills of John Mayer, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springsteen playing alongside Keith Richards in what must have been a mind-blowing experience.
