Listen: Alice In Chains New Track ‘Hollow’

A brand spanking new Alice in Chains track has been made available online through the medium of a fan-made YouTube video, available below. Titled ‘Hollow’ the song is the first musical outlet we’ve heard from the band since their 2009 release of Black Gives Away Blue.

In a recent interview with Guitarworld, Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell confessed that the band would be releasing a new album in 2013. He stated that “I don’t think you’ll be surprised by anything you hear,” continuing, “It’s us. But it’s also really unique. It’s got all the elements of any record we’ve put out, but it’s unlike any record we’ve put out. Basically, it’s the next chapter in the Alice in Chains book, and it’s going to be a big one.”

Don’t know about you, but that makes me excited. The Seattle rockers were last Down

Under for the 2009 Soundwave Festival, which saw them take the festival itself to the next level, and in many ways were one of the drawcards that has made the festival what it is today.
