Dave Mustaine Recieves Official Apology From Mens Warehouse After Xmas Rant

After very publicly berating mens clothing institution Mens Warehouse prior to Christmas, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has received an equally as public apology from the franchise.

Mustaine initially kicked up a stink after learning that a gift card he purchased for the band’s very much loved and trusted tour manager Jim Carroccio was not delivered as arranged. The gift certificate, good for redemption at one of the many Mens Warehouse branches, failed to turn up on time, officially leaving Mustaine looking a bit like a jerk in the eyes of Carroccio. Though truth be told, opening up a gift card probably would have had a similar effect. However, it’s the thought that counts.

Anyway. Dave vented his frustration via a massive Facebook rant, detailing the situation to all 5 million followers that the band have on their page. It was as funny as it was serious, with Mustaine describing Mens Warehouse CEO George Zimmer as an “old geezer with the voice that sounds like he has chain-smoked since he was a fetus”, as well as criticising the company for failing to follow through on their two-day delivery promise.

Now, thanks to Loudwire, we have the official apology from the franchise, which you can read below:

Dave, thanks for reaching out to us on Facebook. We apologize for the delay in receiving your gift card and agree that the delay is unacceptable. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority and we stand by our guarantee to deliver world-class customer service. So, we’d like to speak with you about a solution but are having some trouble reaching you since we last connected on 12/28. So the lesson of the day is: if you’re not happy about something, complain and complain until you are happy with it. Life sure is a lot more beautiful knowing that works.

There’s no news yet on whether Dave has accepted the apology.
