The godfather of stoner shenanigans Tommy Chong has dropped his nugget of wisdom into the chop bowl of hype revolving around the leaked photo of Justin Bieber blazing up. The photo, which has caused massive amounts of contempt all over the world, comes as no surprise to Chong, who had a feeling all along.
When the TMZ crew caught up with the Cheech & Chong star recently, they probably weren’t expecting this response. When asked if he knew that The Biebs was a bong goblin, Chong responded “of course!”.
He continued to add that there was no other option to explain Bieber’s success: “I knew [Bieber] was smoking before he knew it. Because of his music. Because of his dancing. The guy is a phenom … It’s not just his looks. It’s his talent. And you don’t get talent like that by drinking alcohol. The herb, man! The herb!”
It appears weed really does get shit done, with Chong explaining that most celeb A-listers hit up some doob action from time to time. “Weed is mainstream as can be” he concludes.
4Chan pounced on the opportunity to once again fuck with Belibers, starting the #cutforbieber trend on Twitter, coaxing fans to harm themselves in protest.
