SunSets at Fringe Bar on 30th August: with Ray Mann, Ngaiire, Rosie

SunSets at Fringe Bar is hotting up in time for spring on the 30th Aug with three of Sydney’s best – Ray Mann, Ngaiire & Rosie, further cementing SunSets reputation as the best place in Sydney to spend your Sunday evening with a cheap cover ($8) including a free drink you can’t go wrong, settle in with a cocktail and dinner and enjoy the show.

Get up close and personal with Ray Mann – of Sydney Soul trio The Ray Mann Three- Australia’s troubadours of minimal Soul music. Playing SunSets in a stripped back intimate show after the recent “Opa Opa” tour off the back of a huge summer festival season and some well suited support shows with Sharon Jones & The Dapkings.

After leaving soul sensation Kid Confucius to concentrate on the trio, Ray Mann’s namesake act impresses with a more laidback vibe:

Head along to SunSets and enjoy the perfect Sunday Vibe at Sydney’s favourite Sunday venue.

Papua New Guinean born goddess Ngaiire takes you on a journey of the soul with her “incredible ability to captivate every part of you with her brutally honest-as-knives voice”. Known to some as a popular contestant on Season 2 of Australian Idol, she has also sung for Blue King Brown and her solo performances will blow you away with her shear talent and incredible stage presence.

Multi instrumentalist and captivating vocalist Rosie (The Bakery, Old Man River) brings her show back to SunSets after the launch of her stunning debut release in April.

For Rosie music is more important than food. She sings in her sleep and danced before she walked. During a childhood spent between India and Hong Kong, Rosie imbibed music – Chinese opera that wafted through her bedroom window from the Chinese temple across the road, and the diligence of formal sitar tuition in her boarding school in the Himalayas.. Indian Bhajans sung throughout her childhood, the classical music of her mother’s background and the 70s funk of her father. Becoming proficient in both sitar and Kuchipurdi dance saw Rosie perform before crowds of thousands in India from the age of 7.
