Soundwave Sydney Introduces Age Limit 15+, More Tickets To Go On Sale?

We’re going to shatter the dreams of some kids with this article, but Soundwave have introduced a new age restriction on at least the Sydney leg of the festival. Ticket holders under the age of 15 are advised to contact their point of purchase for a full refund.

An email was sent out from organisers informing people of the policy change: “Soundwave 2013 Sydney can no longer accommodate patrons who are under the age of 15. This supersedes the previous policy, which permitted patrons under the age of 15 to attend the event with a responsible adult. If you are a ticket holder aged 14 or under you are able to obtain a refund”.

You can also contact Soundwave with the amount of tickets purchased before close of business Friday, 22nd February 2013 to get a full refund.

ID will be checked upon entry for those who need to prove they are 15 or above.

Hang tight for news on where these tickets will end up, potentially meaning there will be more up for grabs in coming weeks. Stay tuned.
