Nantes Announces Plans For Debut Album ‘Beingsbeing’

Having partied they way through the end of 2012 on stage, Nantes will now be putting all their focus and energy towards the release of their debut album. Beingsbeing will be the chaser for their previous EPs, hitting shelves Friday, 15th March through Deadhand Music.

We’ve already heard Drones from the release, which secured the band some high-profile rotation on triple j, but that is sure to be just a taste of the post punk sensibilities the full album will contain. With relentless bass and that hypnotic synth just below their engaging vocals, Nantes are sure to demonstrate just how debut full-lengths are supposed to be done.

Since the release of their self-titled EP in 2011, the creative partners in crime have maintained a fairly consistent level of praise from both fans and media, not just here but also abroad – CMJ college radio station, who drooled over the lads earlier material, added a handful of tracks to their playlist last year.

Once the album is safely released to the masses, Nantes will be announcing plans on their follow-up album tour, where they will be bringing Beingsbeing to you. In the meantime, the album will be available on iTunes and limited edition CD and vinyl. Keep an ear out – these guys carry more promise than your average indie band.
