Watch: Azealia Banks New Video ‘Harlem Shake’

Azealia Banks has released a music video for her remix of Baauer’s YouTube sensation Harlem Shake. While Banks’ version of Harlem Shake doesn’t see an office full of people losing their shit, it does have plenty of Banks strutting her stuff.

As reported by Complex, Banks originally remixed Harlem Shake with the intention of including the track on her upcoming debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. However, Baauer requested Bank’s remix be removed from Soundcloud leading to an outburst from Banks via her Twitter account.

During her tirade Banks also took aim at producer Diplo, whose label Mad Decent released Baauer’s Harlem Shake, and Perez Hilton who inserted himself into the argument between Banks and Baauer.

At this stage it is unclear if Banks will be able to release the remix as part of her debut LP and fans are still waiting on lead single Yung Rapuxnel, which was meant to be released last week but has been pushed back to March.

Banks will be Australia in March as part of Future Music 2013 and has announced 2 headlining sideshows. Hopefully her set at Future Music will go smoother than her 25-minute performance at last year’s Splendour in the Grass.
