Three of the world’s hottest (or nottest, depending on your taste) producers Diplo, Skrillex, and A-Trak have come together for the very first time to create something exciting and entirely original – a new YouTube music network by the name of Potato. The collective DJ tour de force, if you will, are looking to capture the feel of early music television giants MTV and bring their vision to a global digital audience.
The stated objective of Potato is to offer an immersive and diverse media outlet that represents today’s constantly evolving field of music, acknowledging that the traditional gap between fans and musicians no longer exists. With the help of Iconic TV, TMWRK & Blood Company the trio of DJs are promising a slew of different segments. Already streaming is fly-on-the-wall styled Blow Your Head, while we can look forward to Cosmo’s Crates, Short Cuts and Listen Up! With Ralph Moore in the near future, each with their own unique flavour to complement the overall programming.
