The moment many of us have been waiting for has now arrived. The Dillinger Escape Plan have dropped the first single off their forthcoming album, and judging by the quality of Prancer, we can expect big things from One Of Us Is The Killer.
Kudos goes to the band for preventing any leaks of the track, no doubt something that increased the suspense ten fold, but as you will find throughout the internet land, the track was well worth the wait. Prancer is about as mathcore as you can get. Drums, guitar and bass seem to be following their own paths, but at various times, come together in a spectacularly brutiful fashion.
The band have been teasing the release something vicious. It’s almost been unfair. Option Paralysis was released back in 2010, so Killer has effectively been three-years in the making. But come Tuesday, 14th May it will be in the hands of fans all over the world.
So far, just about everyone has been dealt their Dillinger tour dates bar Australia. However, there is no reason to suspect that ours won’t be announced soon.
