Paramore has posted a lyric video for new track Still Into You, which is the second song released from the band’s upcoming self-titled album, due out 9th April. The video sees hand shadow puppets performing the lyrics to the poppy, upbeat, sugary sweet number.
In January, Paramore released lead single Now, which, like Still Into You, is built around an accessible and catchy hook, although Now has more grunt. At this point it’s really just a waiting game for Paramore fans, with the upcoming release to be the band’s first album since 2009’s Brand New Eyes.
Paramore recently played around Australia as part of Soundwave 2013. Hayley Williams and co encountered some drama during Sydney’s Soundwave on account of their gear going MIA, causing Paramore to have their set time rearranged.
When speaking to Music Feeds about the incident, Williams said in the end Paramore’s set at Soundwave, Sydney was one of the band’s best performances ever:
“It was super stress city. The day was probably one of the lowest points of my life. But then … the show happened … it was a special night. Might have been one of my favourite shows ever.”
