Ultra Music in Miami is a scene of tragedy after a lighting equipment collapse, which has injured up to 4 people and left 2 in a critical condition during preparations for the festival’s opening, only a few hours away.
As reported by The Miami Herald, the accident occurred while stages were being erected. The injured were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. It is unclear if any of the injured individuals were workers.
This year’s Ultra Music will run over two separate weekends as the festival celebrates it’s 15th anniversary. Earlier this week Ultra Music released the timetables for both weekends, with this year’s festival being headlined by Swedish House Mafia. Their 2 sets at Ultra Music will be the final shows from SHM.
