Have you ever had some sort of weird dream where a bunch of guys in undies would play you all the hits from the triple j Hottest 100 back to back?
Well, that’s just happened for you. Melbourne trio Bareback Titty Squad have put together a video with them performing the entire 2012 list from 100 to 1 in an epic 32-minute burst. Yep, from the opening splutters of Everything Everything’s Cough Cough to a seriously wicked breakdown of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop, it’s all there.
And damn, they’ve done a good job. Using the typical set up of drums, guitar and bass, the boys don’t even stop to catch their breath, and instead whack in their own solos, bass fills and other elements to the lengthy track. The vocals aren’t the greatest, but to be honest, that is all to be forgiven considering how much effort and planning the guys must have gone to so they could put this together.
If triple j need to fill some airtime, or if one of the DJs just wants half an hour to themselves, this will most certainly hit the spot. Check out the video below, and enjoy:
