Sydney chillers Slumberhaze might only be new to the game, but they are doing so in a very big way. The band’s debut single Your Mind is at radio now, and comes as a forewarning of a trilogy of EPs to be released from the band in the near future.
The track is fairly cruisy, with short bursts of energy, and revolves mainly around the story being told. Love and manipulation, control and deceit are all addressed in the track that has been described as a modern day love story. Though vocally driven, the instrumental aspect keeps the whole thing afloat, adding to the mood of the deeply personal tale of love and loss.
Clearly some good dudes, Slumberhaze have put the track up for free download via SoundCloud, which you can access below. But be warned, you’re going to want more, pretty much straight away. The group’s maiden EP, Rhyme Rhythm & Romance: Part 1, will be released this coming April and will have two siblings expected in the months after.
