Megadeth’s New Album Cover Leaked?

It looks like the cover for Megadeth‘s upcoming album Super Collider has made its way onto the interwebs.

Blabbermouth discovered the image and quickly shared the news – check out the suspected cover at the top of the page. The album is set for a June 4 release in the US, which means we might be lucky enough to get it a few days earlier down here.

As we reported earlier this month, the band got a serious dose of ’13’s weirdness’ when finishing off the record. Frontman Dave Mustaine recorded his last vocal parts for the record at his California studio – Vic’s Garage – on March 13. Mustaine also mentioned in a tweet regarding the record that there was “13 of 14 songs used”, “song 13 left off”, and that recording finished up 13 years since Megadeth tracked their song Silent Scorn.

Black Sabbath and Suicidal Tendencies both have albums titled 13 due for release in the coming months.

Super Collider will be Megadeth’s first album released through Mustaine’s own record label Tradecraft. Meanwhile, the band released a new studio update video two days ago – and it mostly features them laying down some pretty tasty solos for various tracks on the record. Check it out below:
