Turns out Craig David is still Still Born To Do It thanks to the R&B singer’s hard-working manager Colin Lester, who scrambled to book a new promoter just in time salvage David’s Australian tour dates, after the original promoter went MIA.
As reported by Noise 11, Lester’s handywork in finding a new promoter and organising last-minute visas meant David’s Still Born To Do It Australian tour will go ahead, with the first show taking place tonight at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
Earlier in the week Craig David official Facebook page posted a status to announce the good news to relieved fans:
“We are delighted to announce that Craig WILL be touring in Australia this week! Thank you all for your patience. Craig is excited to be heading back to Australia!”
Turns out Lester is “slicker than your average” manager and “followed his intuition” to make sure a new promoter was “signed, sealed and delivered”…or “so the story goes”. Booya!
