Of Mice & Men’s Austin Carlile Arrested For Felonious Assault

Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile has been arrested for felonious assault following a brawl over the weekend – the news earlier but the pieces have only started to come together these past 12 hours and details surrounding the arrest are now slowly starting to emerge.

According to Under The Gun, Carlile and one other were arrested for felonious assault following a brawl in Ohio.

Police were called to a location in Bowling Green on Sunday at 2:50am where they found a 22-year-old currently unnamed man unconscious. It’s believed that two groups engaged in a donnybrook, with Carlile and OMAM’s drum tech Lionel Robinson belonging to one of those groups.

The 22-year-old was taken to Wood County Hospital with fractured nasal bones, according to police reports, while Carlile and Robinson were taken into custody. The pair were scheduled for a video arraignment this morning.

The band were on tour with A Day To Remember, which was supposed to be followed up by some studio time. Now, though, the future is decidedly uncertain for Of Mice & Men.

Carlile will appear in court on Monday, 15th April.
