MDC Announce First-Ever Australian Tour, August 2013

One of the most influential, politically charged hardcore outfits to survive the ’80s MDC has announced their first-ever run of Australian tour dates. Millions Of Dead Cops, or Multi Death Corporation (whichever you choose) are hailed as pioneers of the genre and, after 30 years in the game and a cheeky break in between, the band are about to demonstrate just how little of their fury and passion they’ve lost.

Fronted by the fearless Dave Dictor, MDC’s message is just as relevant today as it was when they first began to preach it. Driving their point home with their own unique brand of pissed-off-but-positive rock and roll, the band have forged a legacy that Australians are well overdue to experience.

MDC celebrated their big 25th anniversary in style back in 2000, following up the milestone with the release of their most current album Magnus Dominus Corpus. Over the decades the line-up has remained fairly consistent, bar the 2008 addition of bassist Mike Smith and sticks man Jesse Cobb but rest assured – their anti-authoritarian bark is still seriously fucking loud.
