Andrew Stockdale Gives Hope To Wolfmother Fans – “Never Say Never”

Rumours of Wolfmother’s death have been somewhat exaggerated, says main man Andrew Stockdale. He took to Facebook today to announce that all hope is not lost for the resurrection of the rock outfit, suggesting that there could be more to come from the band when the time is right.

“The name isn’t being killed off, that’s just journalistic sensationalism,” he states, referring to the recent news that Wolfmother had once and for all thrown in the towel. He continued, “They write stuff like that just to attract attention. Never say never, that’s my outlook. At the moment I want to go forward as AS, maybe some other time WM will be right….”

Wolfmother advertised a surprise gig in Byron Bay back in March to celebrate the completeion of their latest video, but now it seems the latest music to come from within the camp is going to be performed under Andrew Stockdale’s own name.

The last chance to see Wolfmother perform live before it’s put on the backburner will be the upcoming support slot for Aerosmith in Melbourne Saturday, 4th May. Andrew Stockdale’s forthcoming album, Keep Moving, is slated for release 7th June, 2013.
