Having recently released a new single and announced a new album, Bernard Fanning has just hit the career hat trick with news that he will be hitting the road for an impressive run of shows for The Departure Tour throughout July/August. While on the road, Fanning will be teaming up with a bevy of popular artists, not to mention the entire Splendour 2013 line-up.
The masses have been well and truly informed of the latest single from Fanning, Battleships. The track has received a well-deserved flogging from radio all over the country and has done a proper job of teasing fans for the rest of the brand new album Departures.
Not only will the shows be the first chance to check out the new jams live, but this will be the first time the ex-Powerfinger frontman has performed since the band’s 2010 farewell tour. He sure has come back in style, announcing the hand-picked support acts of Big Scary and our favourite Vance Joy.
Fanning will also be side tracking from his headlining duties to partake in the recently announced Splendour In The Grass festivities
