Happy Mondays Reschedule Australian Tour Dates

Those who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Happy Mondays in their original and previously unseen on Australian stages form will need to be a bit more patient with the band. News comes this morning that the tour, previously announced for May, has been pushed back to June.

The date change has been attributed to unforeseen circumstances but, rather than pulling the plug all together, The Mondays have stuck with it, copped the date-change and announced their shows will be even bigger, bringing with them Madchester stalwarts 808 State for a special DJ set – so it’s really hard to be angry at Happy Mondays.

Tickets that have already been bought will be honoured for the new dates, with those unable to attend qualifying for a full refund from their point of purchase. The order of things has been shuffled around so be sure to revise the new dates carefully. WA fans, you will now be going to Metropolis in Fremantle rather than The Capital in Perth.
