Black Sabbath Debut New Track ‘Methademic’ in Melbourne

Black Sabbath have debuted a new song titled Methademic during last night’s gig at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. The fan footage of the song isn’t the highest quality, and Ozzy Osbourne sounds pretty shaky, but you get the general gist of the new guitar-crunching tune.

From looks of the footage it seems the Melbourne crowd weren’t digging Methademic, remaining relatively stationary. Then again it can be hard to dance along to a new tune, and the audience does offer up a rousing reception at song’s end.

Methademic is a bonus track that will appear on the deluxe edition of 13. The first Sabbath album to feature Ozzy since Never Say Die! in 1978, 13 is due out locally on 7th June. The album’s lead single God Is Dead? is out now.

Sabbath have one more show in Melbourne before finishing up their Australian tour in Perth and Adelaide.
