Wavves and Unknown Mortal Orchestra will perform 2 co-headlining sideshows while both bands are in the country for Splendour In The Grass 2013. The co-headlining gigs will take place in Melbourne and Sydney, with Wavves also playing their own show in Adelaide.
In March, garage stoner surf pop legends Wavves released their latest album Afraid of Heights. The fourth studio album from the Californian outfit, Afraid of Heights has spawned a slew of singles, including Demon To Lean On, which Rolling Stone crowned as “the greatest song yet” by the band.
Just back in February, US via NZ psych band Unknown Mortal Orchestra released their corker of a second album II. An enticing blend of hypnotic and psychedelic grooves, II has helped cement Unknown Mortal Orchestra place as a one of the intriguing bands of 2013.
