Queens Of The Stone Age Preview Brand-New Track In Video For ‘I Appear Missing’

Queens Of The Stone Age have released a music video for new track I Appear Missing, the penultimate track on forthcoming album …Like Clockwork. The clip, featuring animations by album artwork director Bonehead, follows a suited-up mummy hovering though the desert with the occasional animal taking a nibble on his rotten body.

The mummy makes his way to the city limits and seemingly begins to ascend to heaven before gravity takes control and brings the undead fellow crashing down to earth. The 3-minute clip is only half of the songs total 6 minute length, with the full version to appear on the album.

Musically I Appear Missing isn’t as energetic as lead single My God Is The Sun, but rather bubbles just under the surface. Whereas QOSTA confirmed Dave Grohl drummed on My God Is The Sun, there’s no word as to whether any collaborators worked on I Appear Missing.

Based on the 2 songs released thus far, it looks like we’re in for something special when …Like Clockwork is finally released Friday, 28th June. Watch. Enjoy.
