High Highs Heading Back Home For Australian East Coast Shows June 2013

Brooklyn-based Sydneysiders High Highs are heading back home for a pair of headlining shows in Sydney and Melbourne next month, as well as hitting Vivid Live. The duo will be playing the dreamy pop soundscapes from their debut album Open Season.

Made up of vocalist Jack Milas and multi-instrumentalist Oli Chang, the band has received plenty of acclaim for their harmony-laden indie tunes, with Open Season a hit amongst both fans and critics. They’re currently touring with Vampire Weekend in the States, which could be considered to be one of indie pop’s highest honours.

The hype may have originated from their Laneway Festival appearances and 2 intimate headline shows towards the beginning of the year. Now after their success state-side High Highs are heading back less than 4 months later for the new tour, as well as taking the stage at Vivid Live in Sydney on May 30th and 31st to open for Empire Of The Sun.

If you like your indie chilled, dreamy and experimental, we suggest snapping up seats before they’re all gone. Tickets are on sale from Thursday, 16th May 16 at Moshtix.
