Them Swoops Announce Launch For Maiden EP ‘Glimmers’

Just one day after the Friday, 14th June release date scheduled for Them Swoops’ debut EP, Glimmers, the band have announced they will be heading down to their local Northcote Social Club for an official launch party.

This is just the news their ever-growing fan base wants to hear. The band’s live demand is through the roof with their recent headlining show totally selling out. Now, with a tangible release to sink their teeth into the EP launch will most likely follow suit.

Judging from what we’ve heard so far, Glimmers will be an orgy of shimmering indie pop, even featuring a tasty remix of Work Around It by Ben Browning from Cut Copy. The band chose to totally self-produce the EP, before shipping the tracks off to Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party) for mixing. The release has been picked up by New York’s +1 Records and will be released through them.

With a new line up bonded together after hitting the road for the first time in support of Hungry Kids Of Hungary, the band will be in perfect form. Details on the launch below.
