Bon Jovi Berates Biebs For “Disrespecting” Fans With Tardiness

If Jon Bon Jovi isn’t an authority on how to be a respectable, well-rounded musician, then no one is, dammit. The iconic rocker has taken a moment to address Justin Bieber’s tour record, slamming the pop sensation and his penchant for showing up hours late for performances.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Bon Jovi has called The Biebs out on his antics, accusing him of “disrespecting” his trusting fans, explaining:

“Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.”

It may be all sunshine and roses for The Biebs at the moment, given his current reign over international airwaves but Bon Jovi see’s things coming to a sudden halt, should this develop into a habit, “Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché.”

“It’s really not cool” he adds, before summing things up nicely, “you’re an asshole. Go to fuckin’ work!”

Anti-Bieber sentiment is at an all time high following the Billboard Music Awards 2013. Winning the Milestone award, Biebs was met with a volley of disapproving clucks.

Bon Jovi will be showing us how it’s done very soon when he graces our shores for his upcoming Australian tour.
