Eskimo Joe Announce ‘Winter Warmer’ Acoustic Tour, June/July 2013

Fresh from the completion of a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, multi-platinum selling Aussie rockers Eskimo Joe have announced they will be giving back to the people with a run of headlining shows under the banner of the Winter Warmer tour, hitting some intimate venues nationally this June and July.

As you will see from the below tour dates, the band will be performing some up close and personal sets, all of which will be acoustically driven. The trio has promised performances of songs from their entire back catalogue, but have left plenty of room for some new surprises here and there.

Eskimo Joe reached their $40,000 target via Pozible back in February, clearly offering up the right incentives to fans who chipped in towards the bands sixth and latest album. The band previously declared that they would be recording the album in March and April of this year, suggesting they have some new jams from the release polished off and ready to go.

Judging by the delivery date of the rewards that include new material, the album will be released around some time around August this year.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour are available today (Monday, 27th May) with general release happening on Thursday, 30th May. Tickets are available via http://eskimojoe.oztix.com.au/
