Rather than just settling for posting a message on the company’s Facebook wall like most fans of Fat Wreck Chords would have done, super-fan Kye Smith has paid the ultimate tribute. Smith posted a 15-minute long drum medley, which pieces together ever record ever released through the label in its 20-years of existence.
Things kick off with the first ever album released through the label, Lagwagon’s 1992 effort Duh. From there the medley touches on everything from Strong Out, Hi-Standards, more Lagwagon, The Descendants, more Lagwagon and finishing with NOFX’s latest album Self Entitled.
It is safe to say watching this video is 15mins of one’s life well spent, particularly because Smith tends to play the best parts of each songs. Let’s not forget to mention this dude is an absolute machine. Check it out.
