Ghostpoet Announces Australian Tour Dates, September 2013

A true artist of the spoken word, UK’s Ghostpoet has announced he will be returning to our shores this September, to once again blow the minds of Aussie audiences much like he did in 2011. Things will be slightly different this time around, however, as Ghostpoet will be bringing his live band on the trek along with material from his most recent full-length album Some Say I So I Say Light.

There was a lot of doubt surrounding the young rapper when he started making noise, but it only took about 12 months before it was all removed. Naysayers were swiftly brought to silence with the release of his debut album Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam. The album revealed a noticeable disconnect between Ghost and the run of the mill rappers, which dominate the airwaves.

The story continues through Some Say I So I Say Light, which has its feet planted firmly in reality, but with each release, Ghost seems to push the boundaries of this reality even further. All things seem to suggest his return Down Under will be incredible.

Tickets for Perth, Sydney and Melbourne on sale 9am Wednesday, 5th June, Brisbane on sale 9am Monday, 17th June.

UPDATE: Oscar Key Sung has been named as support for Ghostpoet’s headlining dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Tickets now on sale.
