It clearly doesn’t take too much to talk punk nutters Guttermouth into announcing an Australia tour. The masters of the scene have dropped a massive list of dates for Down Under kicking off in August and, by the looks of things, this band has toured Australia so much that they know more cities here than I do.
Bands simply aren’t made like this these days. Ambassadors of the straight up and down, fuck on the flood and break shit punk rock, Guttermouth have busted skulls and taken names since 1988. On account of a massive run of releases, and one of the toughest live shows going around. Not too many bands can say they’ve been kicked off Warped Tour, and even fewer can say they’ve willingly instigated a riot.
There hasn’t been too much movement from within the Guttermouth camp, bar the odd lineup change. The last studio album unleashed upon the world would be 2006’s Save The Planet, which means there’s no agenda of a new album for this tour, they’re simply coming, much like they have in years past, to fuck shit up.
