Kanye West Shares ‘Yeezus’ Album Artwork And New Sample

The one and only Kanye West has officially revealed the cover artwork for Yeezus, posting an image of his highly anticipated sixth studio album to his website, alongside what seems to be a previously unheard sample from the album.

Yeezy has shared the image on his official site today and it’s even more minimalist than we were lead to believe by this Instagram from his baby’s mama, Kim Kardashian. Seems like K.Widdle is getting all System Of A Down on us, with the cover not too dissimilar from the nu metal group’s Steal This Album – it’s pretty much just a blank CD case with a red sticker on it.

When you roll over the image, the release date of 18th June appears, along with a message stating “no pre-orders” and a previously unheard snippet plays. Consequence Of Sound are saying the track is entitled Bound and it contains a sample of 60’s singer Brenda Lee‘s Sweet Nothings.

The promo machine for Yeezus just keeps on rolling, with more projections of the New Slaves video set for buildings around the globe. And Kanye is set to make a live appearance this weekend, although it ain’t a performance of his new material but a baby shower for his future spawn, all set to be filmed for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Classy.
