Wavves Recount Robbing A Drug Dealer In Vegas For Pitchfork Animated Series

Surf rockers Wavves have appeared on a new episode of Pitchfork.tv’s animated series, Frames, to recount a recent adventure of theirs in the Mecca of a drunken, debaucherous vacations, Las Vegas.

The series features first-person storytelling from musicians brought to life by Pitchfork’s animators and this instalment with Nathan Williams and Stephen Pope certainly lives up to the band’s devil-may-care reputation.

From Mountain Dew Xtreme sports gigs to insane drug dealers hanging from speeding cars the story is everything you hope rock stars get up to on their days and nights off.

Wavves will be heading down under for Splendour In The Grass 2013 as well as teaming up with New Zealand’s finest Unknown Mortal Orchestra for a set of sideshows.
