Earl Sweatshirt Declares “Late July” Release Date For New Album ‘Doris’

It’s been dangling in front of us like a highly anticipated carrot for months now but Odd Future member and insanely buzzworthy rapper, Earl Sweatshirt, has but a loose timeline for the arrival of his new album. Whether it be “end of July” or “late July” we can safely say that Doris will arrive sometime within the final moments of July.

Earl revealed the date during an interview with MTV then took to Twitter to back it up. He seemed pretty stoked to finally have the news off his chest, and now seems as excited for the album as the rest of us are. “I’m wrapping everything up so it’s coming out in July,” Earl said. “I can’t wait for this shit to come out already so I can finally exhale.”

In town with Tyler, The Creator for the EarlWolf joint tour, Earl’s partner-in-crime interjected, “You heard it here [on MTV] first. End of July!”

Other than this, we can tell you that the album will see many of his Odd Future buddies feature on tracks as well as Frank Ocean, Mac Miller and Pharrell Williams. It’s already sounding totally out of control.

Hang tight for more updates on Doris.
