Having teased the world with news of their sophomore album earlier this year, Grouplove have returned with a slightly more official announcement, releasing first single Ways To Go and firming up the details on second album Spreading Rumours.
The album will hit shelves both physical and otherwise Friday, 20th September. Having stolen our attention with their brilliant 2011 debut Never Trust A Happy Song, fans all over the world wait with bated breath to see how the band plans on keeping it fresh. With the release of first warning shot, Ways To Go, we can safely peg another chart topping effort from the outfit.
Grouplove are a band who clearly have an ear for making music that grabs you. From their debut, a number of tracks made their way into charts all over the world, with Tongue Tied seeing the band beaten only by Gotye’s super-chart-topper Somebody That I Use To Know as alternative radio’s second most-played of 2012.
The new album is sure to add even more oomph to the band’s already vibing live performance, which we will hopefully be able to experience in the near future.
