Though ol’ Bry-Bry has made odd musical choices like this in the past, it’s still something of an odd pairing, so in honour of this rather unexpected news we thought we’d bring you a list of the strangest musical collaborations that, for better or worse, have stamped their indelible stamp on the annals of music history.


16. Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy – Whatzupwitu?

Whatzup, indeed? Eddie featured in MJ’s epic Remember The Time clip, and there were clearly some strict back-scratching clauses to secure Murphy for the part. How else would The King Of Pop come to appear in what was voted one of the worst videos of all time by MTV?


15. Snoop Lion and Miley Cyrus – Ashtrays and Heartbreaks

This one certainly came out left field, though when Snoop declared that Miley was “one of the greatest musicians of all time” – ALL TIME – we got the feeling he was as aware of his poor choices as we were.

We all know Elton shacks up in the studio with anyone he can, but his vote of confidence in Eminem’s talent at the 2006 Grammys, especially after the rapper’s numerous run-ins with gay rights groups, was certainly an eye opener.
