Wavves Drop Latest Video Clip ‘That’s On Me’

Surf punk preachers Wavves have once again returned to our screens doing some weird shit. This time round, the band have thrown some visuals around the track That’s On Me and whilst it isn’t as mind-boggling as the Afraid Of Heights clip, it will still have you thinking “…the fuck did I just watch?”.

A middle-aged businessman, slightly on the chubbier side of things, can be seen releasing his pent-up tension upon some unsuspecting soft drink bottles with a samurai sword before moving onto bigger things such as garbage bins and watermelons, while cheerleaders do…something, with what we can only discern as ‘generic metal dude’ standing in for main man Nathan Williams. It’s all happening.

Fans will surely be familiar with the track by now, which makes the clip all the more special. That’s On Me found its way onto the bottom end of the bands latest album Afraid Of Heights, which dropped back in March and provided a great reason to stick with the release all the way through.

If you’re digging what you hear, get even more keen as Wavves will be in town soon for Splendour In The Grass 2013 and a few sideshows of their own.
