Pharrell To Join Kylie On Her New Album, Jay-Z To Follow Suit?

There could be a collaboration in the works between Australia’s pop queen Kylie Minogue and the self-proclaimed God of MCs Jay-Z. HOVA recently signed Kylie to his Roc Nation label and released her first single as a member la Roc familia, Skirt, back in May. Jay-Z is said to be planning a visit to the studio where Kylie is recording her upcoming album.

There is no confirmed release date as yet, but it has been announced that the album will feature production credits from super-producer Pharrell Williams. The Sun reports that a source close to the pop queen’s studio says:

Jay is a big fan of Kylie’s, he’s always liked her music. The music she’s making with Pharrell is sounding great and he’s been talking about it non-stop. They like the idea of bringing a rap edge to her style.

Jay-Z’s own upcoming album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, is set to drop 4th July. The track list for the long-awaited album was recently unveiled and will apparently feature lyrics from grunge lords Nirvana. The album has been getting a lot of press as a result of Jay’s partnership with Samsung.
