Who ever said country music was wussy? Well, potentially one of the dudes getting their ass kicked at a recent Kenny Chesney concert. A concert for the country star has ended in around 72 arrests following nearly a dozen punch-ons, which sent 150 people to the first aid tent, and 45 to the hospital.
It wasn’t just the all-in-brawls that contributed to the arrest tally; there have been plenty of drug charges related to marijuana possession as well as public urination, disorderly conduct, assault, and apparently one arrest for indecent assault. Furthermore, there were other injuries treated outside of the show which have been linked to the concert-related violence.
Chesney’s fans have apparently made a habit of getting wasted and starting fights at his Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field shows, and with a police spokesperson confirming that officers were called to respond to “at least 10 fights”, it seems like this show was a total success.
Chesney is behind such hits as She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy and No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem as well as many, many more tracks you probably haven’t heard before.
