Prince will be the musical entertainment at Star Wars creator George Lucas’ upcoming wedding ceremony in Chicago this weekend. Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson will be treated to a performance from the pop legend at their reception.
The pair were properly married last weekend, with the first ceremony taking place at Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in California. But with money being a non-factor when you’re the creator of one of the most lucrative film franchises in the history of cinema, the second ceremony is set to take place in Chicago, Hobson’s hometown.
No word on how much Prince is being paid to make the trip from Minnesota, but you can imagine that it’s a hefty sum for the famously frugal artist who once had all of his music taken off of YouTube.
