Babyshambles Release New Single ‘Nothing Comes To Nothing’ Just In Time For SITG 2013

Just days after announcing their upcoming album, Sequel To The Prequel, Babyshambles have begun to deliver the goods with the release of the first single from the record, Nothing Comes To Nothing. The track has debuted as most high profile tracks do, with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.

You can expect some serious flashbacks to the good old days of the early 2000s within seconds of cranking Nothing Comes To Nothing. The track is the first sign of life from within the band (if you ignore the discourging headlines that popped up over the years) since their 2007 record Shotters Nation. Pete Doherty understood the weight of the situation, telling NME:

“I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fucking smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back – this band has always been here.”

This news has put Australian fans in a prime position to hear not just the new single, but others to be featured on the band’s 3rd album given that they will be performing at the upcoming Splendour In The Grass with a run of headlining shows to coincide.

Sequel To The Prequel will be out on or around Monday, 2nd September.
