CHVRCHES Show Haim How ‘Falling’ Could Have Sounded

Charming Scottish electro pop outfit CHVRCHES have taken to the studios of BBC Live Lounge to Haim’s mega hit Falling, and it seems that Haim’s sister trio is no match for CHVRCHES’ Scottish trio – the new version may actually be better than the original.

Even the presenters of Live Lounge were taken aback by the textured and warm rendition of the track. CHVRCHES have remained true to the structure of the original for the most part, but when translated into the synthesised, boppy musical language of CHVRCHES, Falling takes on the guise of a totally new track all together.

CHVRCHES will be unveiling their debut full-length record The Bones Of What You Believe in Australia on Friday, 20th September, but not before the release of their upcoming Gun EP expected Monday, 15th July which will be more than enough to get us through to the album.

The band will be losing their Australian v-place early August when they arrive for their maiden tour Down Under.
