City And Colour Announces Second Australian Tour For 2013

Currently in the country for a cheeky solo acoustic tour, City and Colour has now announced a full set of headlining all-ages Australian tour dates for later in the year, presented by Music Feeds, and this time round loved-up Canadian crooner Dallas Green will be joined by a full cast of brand-new backing musicians.

For his ninth stint Down Under, City and Colour will hit up all major cities, with plenty of regional shows to boot. You’ll also notice the shows will take place at an array of venues, from close-quarters, intimate joints to the monster 10,000+ capacity amphitheatres. Green has pulled out all the stops for this new run of shows, which kicks off late November, all in the name of his brand new full-length album The Hurry And The Harm.

The new record has been on the up and up since its inception. Australian fans took to the release fairly quickly, sending it to #4 on the ARIA charts, suggesting that The Hurry And The Harm will live up to the expectations put in place following Little Hell if not surpass them. Green is currently in the country right now supporting the release though upon his return, the tracks are sure to take on a whole new form when presented with full band.

To get a taste of the amazingness you can expect, City and Colour will be stopping by Music Feeds Studio this Thursday, 18th July after 1:00pm AEST for an exclusive live streamed interview and performance.

So all those who missed out on tickets for the current solo tour can now officially just chill – you’ll have another chance this year to catch City and Colour, and his swag of anthems, live, plus you get to see our live stream! Aren’t we great?! Tickets for the new dates go on sale 9am next Wednesday, 24th July.

UPDATE: 24/07/13 Two shows have already sold out, with the first Sydney show and the only Hobart show being snapped up in just a few hours! Luckily for Taswegians, a second show has been added at the Theatre Royal for the following night on Thursday, 5th December.

The new show is on sale now, but be quick – all tickets are selling like the devil don’t want ’em!

UPDATE: 16/09/13 Chris Carraba’s Twin Forks has been added to select shows for the tour, supporting City And Colour in Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne. Details below.
