Motörhead Frontman Lemmy Kilmister “On The Mend” Following Recent Health Scare

Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell has taken to Facebook today to inform fans that their worshipped frontman Lemmy Kilmister is on the mend following a sudden haematoma that forced the band to can a handful of European tour dates. All those who were concerned can now rest assured that Lemmy will be back in time for their upcoming new album and the subsequent touring.

Campbell has delivered the good news by posting, “Lemmy is on the mend and we are gonna be touring our asses off!!” Before confirming that it will be, “Business as usual real soon!” Lemmy worried fans when it was first announced that the rocker, who is well on his way to 70 years of age was once again in hospital to treat the haematoma just months after he was fitted with a defibrillator to combat heart problems. Cancelling shows is not in the nature of Motörhead though on account of the restricted movement imposed by the ailment, there was no other option.

Campbell also amps up the forthcoming release of their latest record Aftershock, which has a street date sometime within September. The release will be backed up by what we hope will be an extensive run of international tour dates.
