To celebrate the upcoming release of their brand new 5-tracker Is This How You Feel?, much-loved Sydney crew The Preatures have announced they will be bringing the good vibes to you on a national run of headlining tour dates throughout September.
The Is This How You Feel? EP, set for release on 9th August, is off to a smashing start – the title track (below) is copping a right ol’ flogging not just here in Australia but around the globe, even getting the remix treatment from Classixx. It seems The Preatures struck audible gold in their DIY studio space (known as ‘Doldrums’) in Sydney, with the new sound leaps ahead of their still-glorious first EP Shaking Hands.
Before they hit the road, the band will support LA’s Haim on their Splendour In The Grass 2013 sideshows. And once this tour is wrapped up, The Preatures will be heading OS, landing Stateside before a cheeky run through Europe. We’re also edging closer and closer to that uber anticipated full-length, expected to be released next year.
The Preatures have developed a frustrating habit of selling out shows well in advance, and with the upcoming tour even bigger in size than their single launch shows the band’s trajectory settings are locked firmly in straight-to-the-top mode, so this may be your last chance to see The Preatures in relatively intimate venues.
