AFI’s ‘I Hope You Suffer’ Video Brings The Hardcore Back

AFI have released the official music video for the comeback single I Hope You Suffer after revealing details for their forthcoming album Burials earlier this month. The band have put themselves smack bam in the centre of the clip, cutting sick in a manner only AFI can and, man, it feels good to see them doing it once again.

The track itself is sure to leave fans feeling a little less anxious about the release, as it indicates we can expect some more straight-up hardcore anthems and none of that emo-leaning stuff 2009′s Crash Love delivered.

What’s more, the lads have cut their hair and roughed themselves up a bit resulting in a much tougher look and sound, which is what we’ve been waiting for for some time now.

The full album will be out late October internationally meaning we will be able to sink our teeth into some more samples beforehand so heres hoping they’ve taken all the feedback since Miss Murder onboard.

Given the current buzz surrounding the band, an Australian tour is sure to be announced any moment now, so brace yourselves.

UPDATE: A local release date for Burial has now been announced as Friday, 18th October. Get Keen.
