With anticipation for metal juggernaut Trivium‘s forthcoming album Vengeance Falls at fever pitch, we now have an official release date for the record, a tracklist, a free download AND news that a maiden single will soon be seeing the light of day. Crikey.
The band teamed up with the great David Draiman of Disturbed/Device to produce the record, which was pieced together in his Austin, Texas home studio. In fact, it was Draiman who first leaked the album name of the release some months ago. However, the band seems to be way to chuffed on the record to be angry at Draiman over it.
Vengeance Falls sees the band once again pushing the barriers of their soundscape not unlike they did with 2011’s Waves, and considering that record went #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums, it’s no surprise they’re once again looking to shake things up.
The first single off the album will come in the form of Strife and will be at your disposal should you decide to take the band up on their digital pre-order option, though if you’re strapped for cash and still fiending for your Trivium fix, you can download the opening track, Brave This Storm, for free.
Vengeance Falls will officially be available 11th October.
